In honor of Red Ribbon Week, today at lunch we’re going to have some fun activities about effects of tobacco and e-cigarette use. Options include:

  1. Kahoot in the library about scary tobacco and vaping facts. The top 3 winners will receive an exciting prize!
  2. A spin-to-win wheel about serious effects of tobacco and e-cigarette usage. Prizes will be available if you answer the question correctly.
  3. A giant cigarette will be available to take a puff on in the courtyard. It may seem fun, but will reveal fatal effects of tobacco use.

Want to play co-ed soccer or girl’s basketball? The registration deadline is tomorrow at 3 pm. Register online!

Our first school dance will be next Friday, November 3rd, from 7-9 pm in the gym. Students may attend unless you have 10 or more tardies, 3 or more referrals or one or more suspensions. Please be mindful of tardies and see Mr. Haupert if you’ve been suspended or have 10+ tardies and would like to complete community service hours to attend.

Photography Club members: don’t forget to send your best graffiti/mural picture to Ms Velasquez by tomorrow.

Today’s Science Olympiad meeting is canceled. See you next week!
