Notes from Community Meeting about Addressing Racism and Prejudice in our Schools

85 Parents, students, and teachers got together on March 28th to discuss two essential questions:
1) What do you think needs to be done to better address prejudice, racism, and peer mistreatment at Albany Middle School?
2) What type of support from the school do you need related to this topic?/ What type of support from the school would be needed to put your ideas into action?

Attached are the notes from this meeting with the feedback divided by stakeholder groups. After spring break we will continue the work of looking at next steps. Thanks so much to all who were involved in that discussion as well as those of you who have reached out individually. It is a community effort and there is much work ahead.
