This is the Diversity Gay Straight Alliance with a Transgender Awareness Week announcement. Join us next week for a Transgender Awareness Day! On Monday, November 20th, wear a pink, blue, or white shirt, the colors of the transgender flag, and we’ll take a group photo at lunch time! Transgender refers to a person whose gender identity does not match the person’s biological  sex. Transgender people may additionally identify as straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, and so on. Cisgender refers to a person whose gender identity matches the person’s biological sex. Support gender-expansive youth today!
