PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Good evening,

I hope this bulletin finds everyone safe and well. We had a good week. The students worked hard on finishing off the third quarter, 150 student-athletes went to Track & Field tryouts, our baseball, softball, and boys volleyball teams competed in a number of games, and tonight is our third school dance of the year from 7 pm to 9 pm in the AMS Gym, and our 8th grade students went on their annual Exploratorium field trip on Thursday.

It's hard to believe that we have ten weeks of school remaining for the 2025-26 school year! Please remember that we are on Spring Break from April 6-10, and school will resume on Monday, April 13. The last day of school is on Friday, June 5th. We have lots to do and many upcoming events, so please take a look at the calendar below.

PTA CORNER

Volunteer for the Spring Soiree on April 16, 3-6 pm, at AMS! The Spring Soiree is just 3weeks away, happening on Thursday, April 16th, from 3:05 pm to 6:00 pm! This is a very exciting afterschool carnival event that the PTA organizes exclusively for students, but we need many parent volunteers to make it happen! Can you get involved? We have over 100 volunteer slots to fill for the day of the event, as well as some leaders to help oversee the event. It's a really fun event to be a part of, and by volunteering, you have a front row seat to observe your AMS student and their friends, enjoying all the games, food and fun activities! Please consider signing up for a timeslot or two here!  No time to volunteer in person? We need food and drink donations for the Cobra Cafe. Sign up here! We also need volunteers to help with the planning process. Can you help? If so, please contact Eliza Welch Sears at elizawelchsears@gmail.com or (415) 497-1852.

Join Next Year's PTA Board! Want to support AMS and help organize the PTA? Some of our current board members are finishing their terms and moving on to high school. We're looking for a Vice President, a Secretary, and a Parliamentarian to start next fall. Reach out to Catherine at president@ams-pta.org if interested!
