PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Good evening AMS families,

I hope this school bulletin finds you and your family well.

We had an amazing turnout at this year’s Open House on Wednesday! Thank you to all the families who were able to attend, and to our teachers for their hard work in preparing for the event.

We’ve just completed our first week of state testing. I want to thank all of our students for giving their best effort on the English Language Arts assessments. If your child missed any portion of the assessments, they will have an opportunity to complete them this coming week.

This week’s state testing is for 8th grade students only. Students will be taking the Science (CAST) assessment during their science classes.

Third quarter report cards are now available on Aeries and will be mailed home on Monday, so please keep an eye on your mailbox. There are 29 school days remaining. If your child is struggling in one or more classes, there is still time to make improvements.

Have a great weekend, and as always… Go Cobras!

Mr. Mapes

  • Tue, May 5th - Snack Extravaganza

  • Fri, May 8th - Catered lunch in the AMS garden

  • Fri, May 8th - Gift card drawing

Thanks to your generous donations this year, the PTA will cover the cost of the catered lunch, but we need your help with set-up and clean-up of both events, along with gift card and food/beverage donations for the snack day. Sign up HERE.

If you aren’t able to donate food, gift cards, or your time, please consider a monetary donation to help fill in any holes. Donate via Paypal HERE and don’t forget to write “Staff Appreciation” in the notes. We appreciate your support!
