PTA-Sponsored Parent Ed Night on Teenagers and Self Harm
As a result of seeing an increase in self-harming behavior among Albany Middle School students, we have organized a parent education night.

On Wednesday May 14th, Dr. Lisa Cohen-Bennett will giving an hour long talk on self-harm and teenagers. Dr. Cohen Bennett is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been working with self-injuries for decades and has been training on the topic for over twenty years. Shelly Ball, the district's mental health coordinator will also be there to speak.
The talk will be in the AMS library from 7-8 pm.
