School Dances

The Associated Student Body Leadership Team hosts four dances a year for the students of Albany Middle School. Dances are an opportunity for students to socialize and bust a move with their friends! The dances are held in our school gym and are chaperoned by both staff and community volunteers. Each dance features a professional DJ spinning student-generated playlists with a full light and sound package.

Dances typically fall on the last Friday of each quarter, with the first dance of the year being open only for 7th and 8th graders, as the 6th graders have a dance of their own at their Halloween party. The second and third dances of the year are open to all grade levels and the final dance of the year is a special celebration for our graduating 8th grade students that occurs on promotion night. All students are welcome to attend our dances and we look forward to seeing you on the dance floor!
