Today, we recognize Punjabi or Sikh Americans. Punjabis were among the first immigrants from the Indian subcontinent to come to California. They settled in farming regions, including the Yuba-Sutter area. With hard work and determination, they built a strong community that preserves the traditions of their homeland while while also contributing to the growth of our state.

This Friday, May 24th is our last Spirit Day of the school year! The theme is "Summer/Beach Day". Show your school spirit and wear favorite summer/beach clothing - shorts, sandals, sundress, tank top, sunscreen, etc.! The dress code still applies, no swimsuits, and you must dress for PE.
Attention all 7th and 8th graders who are running for class office. Thank you for turning in your signed petition and essay/speech. The next step is you must attend a pre-election meeting at lunch tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21st in the computer room. Be sure to bring your essay/speech.
