As middle school comes to a close, here's some final week reminders.
Monday and Tuesday, June 10 & 11 (8am-3:05pm)
These are regular school days.
Wednesday, June 12th (8am-2:10pm)
We will be practicing for promotion that day and anticipate releasing students at 2:10pm. However, if we are not done by 2:10pm, we may need to keep the students a little longer and ask that all students stay so that they are properly prepared for the promotion ceremony.
Thursday, June 13th
We will be having our Awards Ceremony (students only) from 10:15-11:30am and then will release the 8th graders after that so that they can have time to get ready for Promotion. If you do not want your child to be released at 11:30am, please let us know ahead of time by emailing Maria Santoyo <msantoyo@ausdk12.org>.
5:00-6:30pm - Promotion Ceremony in the Albany High School gym.
8th Graders should arrive at 4:15pm on the first floor of AHS where they lined up for promotion practice.
8-10pm - Promotion Dance in the Albany Middle School gym.
This dance is free for all 8th graders.
Friday, June 14th
Six Flags- Students should arrive at school at 8:30am and will return at about 3:30pm.
They should report to the lunch shelter.
