At Lunch today:

  • Noontime sports is girls only today.  Ladies, come down and play table tennis, basketball, and volleyball.  The rockwall will also be open.
  • Drama Club will meet  in room 116
  • Board Game Club meets today in Portable 2.  Finish your lunch and come enjoy some board games!
  • The Dungeons and Dragons club is meeting today  in room 115.  
  • Art Club will meet in the art room 
  • Dance Club at 12:40 in room 201
  • Rubik's Club is meeting today in room 112
  • The GSA is meeting today in Mr. Kim's room 110. See you there! Newcomers always welcome.

 

Winter advisory parties are tomorrow. If you signed up to bring something, please remember to bring it tomorrow. 


French 8 classes are making (pronunciation: boosh duh noe-el) bûche de Noël in class on Thursday and Friday!  Please come on Friday to vote for the best yule log. The yule logs will be on display in the library during lunch for you to judge. Four ballots will be drawn to award pieces of the yummy, French chocolate cake to students who vote. Voting will close at 12:50, so come to the library to vote early during lunch on Friday!


Our next Student Council meeting is on Tuesday, January 7th (the first Tuesday after winter break). Please arrive at 7:30am sharp in front of the library.


Attention all students! Take a look at the clothing rack in the atrium. All lost and found items have been hung up or are out on display on the tables in the atrium. Please claim any lost personal belongings by the end of this week. All unclaimed items will be donated over the break.

 

CONGRATULATIONS to the 8th grade girls who beat Korematsu yesterday to move into the winners bracket of the East Bay tournament in Martinez.  Good luck today against Stanley!  

 

6th grade girls- good luck in your tournament game today, please release students at 2:30!

 

The 7th grade girls begin their tournament tonight HERE at AMS at 7 against Stanley.  Let's support these awesome girls tonight and show the whole East Bay that AMS spirit is amazing!

 

7th grade basketball players please come to Ms. Britton's office at lunch today to sign the thank you cards!

 

The Cobra soccer team has a 4:30 match today against Willard- this is their last match of the season and a chance to get even after Willard beat AMS early in the year.  Come on out and support!
