Researchers at the University of California Berkeley’s School of Public Health have launched a new study to better understand the current spread of SARS-CoV-2 or novel “coronavirus” (the virus that causes COVID-19) in the Bay Area and the effects of social (physical) distancing strategies.
Postcards have been sent to every home in the Bay Area inviting households to participate in this new COVID-19 research study. If you enroll in the initial screening, you could be selected among the 5,000-6,000 randomly selected individuals to receive an at-home sample collection test kit.
