February is Black History Month. Black history is American history. We will open with a quote from 19th century feminist and abolitionist, Sojourner Truth on life.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOURSELF in the yearbook ON THE "8TH GRADE Kiddie PAGE", PLEASE BRING A PHOTO OF YOURSELF AS a toddler OR CHILD TO MS. LEWIT IN THE LIBRARY. WRITE YOUR NAME ON THE BACK OF THE PHOTO - THESE WILL BE RETURNED to you IN MARCH. YOU MAY ALSO EMAIL HER A PHOTO IN a JPEG FORMAT. ([email protected])

- The Magic the Gathering will meet in room 202. Games starts at 11:45 if you’re in 6th grade, and at noon if you are in 7th/8th grade
