Ms. Skrivan and other concerned students are hosting a poster and banner making party on Monday (TODAY!)  to create messages of solidarity in support of DACA, the law created by President Obama protecting children of immigrants. If you would like to learn more about this, or create posters of support, come to Room 203 at the beginning of lunch on Monday and Tuesday of this week.


Do you love science and math?  Do you like trivia style games with buzzers?  If so, you should come check out the Science Bowl club.  First meeting is today in room 101 starting at 12:35.  All students are welcome!


The first DGSA meeting will be held today at lunch in room 210.  All former members and new members are welcome to attend. DGSA is a club for students interested in supporting diversity and the LGBTQ community here at AMS, both as members and allies. See Ms Leslie-Hayes or Ms Richardson with questions.


Come one, come all! The Earth Team is back in session!  Our first meeting of the year will be tomorrow, Tuesday September 12th, at lunch in room 107.  New members welcome! Contact Ms. Fordyce or Ms. Hernandez with questions.


The garden club is meeting tomorrow, Tuesday September 12th, after school.  We will be picking apples, cutting roses, listening to music and deciding what seeds to plant.  If you would like to join the garden club, meet us at the garden from 3:10-4:15.


The first student council meeting will be this Wednesday, September 13, at 7:30 am in the AMS library. All representatives should plan on attending. Alternates are welcome as well.


The Spanish club is meeting Thursday September 14 in portable 4. If you are interested in running for president, vice president, secretary and treasurer please come prepared to hold our elections.
