Our two Red Ribbon Week facts of the day are unfortunately true.  There are 4,500,000,000,000 cigarettes that end up as toxic trash each year. Can you think of the impacts this has on our planet?

Also, every year in the U.S., roughly 5,000 people under the age of 21 die from an alcohol-related incident including car crashes, homicides, suicides, alcohol poisoning and other related injuries.

Congratulations to the Girl's 7A volleyball team who beat #2 seeded Orinda last night!

And congratulations to 6th Grade Flag Football on a great season!!  Players, please turn in your Flag Football shirts to Mr. Peters or Mr. Rogers by Friday.  Go Cobras!

The canned food barrels are here and need to be filled with food! The first turn in date for the canned food drive will be tomorrow. Please send a representative to the atrium with your cans/food at the end of 2nd period and a Leadership Student will be there to help sort and count cans.

  • Mix-It-Up Day!

Hey, Sixth Graders! One of the biggest causes of bullying and disrespect at school is when students don’t know each other. Let’s change that. Bring your lunch to Mix-It-Up Day today -- you heard that right, today! -- under the lunch shelter. Meet other sixth graders and a lot of 7th and 8th grade student leaders. Mix it up! This event is brought to you by the Diversity Gay Straight Alliance.
