Happy Halloween! Can you figure out the answers to any of these spoooooky jokes? Be the first to find Ms. Brill - not in the main office! - with the correct answer for a prize!

  1. What do you get if you cross Bambi with a ghost?
  2. What do you call wood when it’s scared?
  3. What do you call a vampire that lives in a kitchen?
  4. Why wasn’t there any food left after the monster Halloween party?

If you would like to create a piece of art for the cover of the 2018 Yearbook, please submit a VERTICAL (portrait) drawing, cartoon, collage, photo or computer-generated piece of art that shows life at Albany Middle School. If you have any questions or need ideas, see Ms Lewit in the library. All entries are due to Ms Lewit on Monday, November 6.

The next canned food turn-in date is tomorrow, Wednesday Nov. 1st. Please bring your cans to the atrium at the end of Advisory, and have them counted if you are able. Thank you!

Science Olympiad will NOT meet this week.  The next meeting will be Nov. 8.

No Earth Team Meeting today.

At lunch today:

  • Noontime sports is offering volleyball in the gym.  Come hit a monster spike!
  • Buy your dance ticket! Tickets are $7 and will be on sale all this week. You must return overdue library books before you buy a ticket!

Do you ever have more candy than you can eat after Halloween? Every year, Albany Middle School helps At the Crossroads, a local organization that works with homeless youth to help them building healthy and fulfilling lives, in its annual candy drive. If you have excess candy you'd like to contribute, a bin labeled “At the Crossroads” will be in AMS's main office starting tomorrow. Bring by your extras — they'll go to good use. Thank you, and happy Halloween!
