Do you know a student at AMS who is kind and compassionate to everyone? If so, write an essay about this great person -- this Super Friend! -- for the chance to win $50 for yourself and $50 for your friend. Directions are available on posters around the school and in the front office. All essays should be submitted to Ms. Uyeda's mailbox by the end of the day on Monday, February 26th.
If you are interested in selling girl scout cookies, you must wait until the end of the school day. They may NOT be sold during passing periods or lunch.

At lunch today:
- Earth Team is meeting in room 107
- Attention muggle born middle schoolers! Quidditch is back this week for noontime sports. Please wait at the white line and wait for Mr. Peters or Mr. Rogers to let you in.
- Ultimate frisbee is on the field between the 50 and 30 yard lines from 12:30 - 1:15. 7th and 8th graders wanting to play flag football will need to wait until the end of the 6th grade football game to play. Come out and huck some disc! All skill levels and genders welcome.
Come out and support the 6B, 7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball teams today as they host Longfellow in the gym. Games start at 4:00pm. Below are a few do’s and don’ts for home basketball games.
Do’s:
- Show up ready to cheer for the AMS Basketball teams
- Bring your friends to enjoy the games with you!
- Have fun!
Don’ts:
- Don’t bring your bike, skateboard, razor, basketball or outside food into the gym.
- Don’t sit or place your backpack/bags on the floor in front of the bleachers. This area must be remain clear during games.
- Don’t taunt the referees, the other team, coaches or fans.
- Don’t exhibit any other unsportsmanlike conduct.
