Today for Asian American Heritage Month, we recognize Punjabi Americans. Punjab is the northernmost region in India, and Punjabis were among the first immigrants from the Indian subcontinent to come to California. They settled in farming regions in Central Valley. With hard work and determination, they built a strong community that preserves the traditions of their homeland while while also contributing to the growth of our state.
Art for the front and back covers of the program for the promotion ceremony is due ASAP! The art should be in black and white, fit on a half page of white paper, and say “AMS Promotion 2018.” Please turn your entries into the office.
