This week, we highlight LGBTQ history. In 2017, Washington, D.C., residents became the first people in the United States to be able to choose X as their gender marker instead of male or female on driver's licenses. Similar policies exist in Canada, India, Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand and Nepal.

At Lunch today:

  • GSA is meeting in room 201
  • Earth Team is meeting in room 109

The Technology Club is meeting after school in room 102.

Ms. Luci still has 9 slots open for the Art Club mosaic mural project! If you showed up last Thursday and have not returned the club form, please turn the form in to Ms. Luci anytime. This Wednesday is the second canned food drive turn in date.  Please bring cans at the beginning of 2nd period to the atrium.  Your cans will be tallied and entered on the bar graph. Remember, every can helps...so do what you can!

This Friday, October 26th is our next Spirit Day! The theme is "Fall Colors".  Show your school spirit and wear your fall colors to take the cobra color challenge! 6th graders wear orange, 7th graders wear yellow, and 8th graders wear red.  The dress code still applies, and you must dress for PE. Wearing your PE uniform does not count. All those who participate are asked to come to the atrium outside the library at 11:45 for a photo!
