Please join us on Thursday, May 24th at 6:30 PM in the Little Theater at Albany High School to meet Dashka Slater, author of The 57 Bus. This is a a free event, sponsored by the Albany Public Library/Friends of the Albany Public Library in conjunction with AHS and AMS. 8th and 9th graders will have already seen an assembly with Ms. Slater earlier that day. Mr. Craig Bryant, music teacher at AHS and AMS, has been nominated as a finalist for the NBC All-Star Teacher award! You can vote for him by clicking through to NBC's website - once a day until June 1st!

At the end of the year, AMS parent volunteers and the AMS PTA put together a special staff appreciation lunch to show appreciation for the teachers and staff at AMS and to celebrate the end of the year in style.
