In this tutorial, you'll learn how to use the AERIES Parent Portal to check your student's attendance, including tardies.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to check your student’s attendance for absences and tardies. First, you’ll need to sign into the AERIES parent portal (which is accessible via the AMS website). Once at the sign-in page, enter your associated email address and click next. Then enter your password and click sign in. This will bring you to the homepage for the parent portal where you have a host of useful information. To get a quick snapshot of your student’s attendance, the attendance summary section at the bottom of the page provides you with a count of absences and tardies for the year broken down by period. At the bottom of that table there is a breakdown of excused vs. unexcused absences. For a more complete view, click on attendance in the navigation bar at the top of the page. This screen will show a detailed attendance breakdown for every period of every day of the school year. Click on the ‘legends’ icon or reference the table at the bottom right of the page for an attendance code key.
