SVA Architects' Design for School Addition Lauded as "High Performance" Learning

On Wednesday, September 2, AUSD food service will return to serving FREE grab and go meals for all children 18 and under on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the Albany High School multipurpose room, 603 Key Route Blvd. from 11:30 to 1:30. You do not need a barcode. Social distancing measures are in effect. Face coverings are required. Children do not need to be present to pick up food. Dear AMS Community,

We have a ratified agreement with our teacher's union, and are ready to move forward with our plan for the year. We will be discussing this in more depth at our Orientation on Thursday at 5pm.

Attached is a teaching and learning schedule for this year. The block schedule periods at the top of the document are going to be Zoom lessons with teachers. The gray box periods that are indicated with AL (Asynchronous Learning) are times for students to do the work assigned for that day on their own. The afternoon times are also a great opportunity to connect with counselors and other service providers. Fridays begin with 45 minutes of community building, followed by a day of asynchronous learning and ample opportunity to connect with teachers, get support, attend small group intervention, connect with counselors, and attend clubs.
