Anti-Smoking PSA Contest for Students
Alameda County is running a contest to create a public service announcement with the theme of "Myth Busters: Big Tobacco, Big Lies." Teams of one to four students can make a poster, audio or video PSA, and it must include a big tobacco myth and/or fact from a reputable source. PSAs are most effective when they feel relevant to their target audience, so keep in mind that your target audience is middle schoolers. Please see the attached flyer and linked info sheet for rules and other details. The prizes range from $25 to $100 and the deadline is 5 pm this Friday, March 23rd, so get creating!
