Tardy Policy Change At the beginning of the 2nd semester, we’ll be implementing a minor change to our tardy policy because many of our students who are late to their first class do not control that they are late. Under the new policy, tardies to a student’s first class will be counted separately from their tardies to subsequent classes.
Poetry contest sponsored by the Black Parent Advisory Group The Albany Black Parent Advisory Group is holding a poetry contest open to all AUSD students! The theme is Black History Month: How this brings our commUNITY together, and three students will be selected to receive a $25 award and invited to recite their poem at the Black History Month program.
